a mini lesson in SYMBOLISM

As we entered Aries season, an idea dropped in, I could make one of those cute mini zines sharing the symbolism and libratory art making lesson, I did at home with my 8 year old.

That led to this poster they made and the banner we collaborated on.

With these helpful resources, Canva, and a late night, a mini lesson in SYMBOLISM, a mini resource for liberatory young artists was made, for the Weelaunee Coalition Press, in the hopes of educating and inspiring.

The zine is formatted to print on a single 8.5 x 11 page. It’s best in color.

Here are instructions to fold, cut, and fold it again, into a cute little zine book.
